Pray...and crying in Walmart

Hi all. I don't have much time - so sorry if this is jumpy or random. I'm borrowing Christine's computer again. Thanks again, Christine! :)

First, I wanted to let everyone know that my beloved Grandma Mildred Mason (my mom's mom) passed away on Monday afternoon. It is so, so sad to lose her...but I am SO happy that she is free of pain and suffering now. I'm working on writing her obituary right now, I'll post it up here when I'm done. (BTW - I'm also doing the slideshow for her funeral...I went to Walmart yesterday and spent THREE AND A HALF HOURS scanning in 93 pictures of the family...then spent the next 3 hours CRYING MY EYES OUT IN WALMART when their scanner locked up and I lost them ALL...but that's a whole 'nother story for a while 'nother blog post...)

Second, my sister's friend's daughter could really use your prayers. Her name is Annie and she is 2 years old and she's dealing with a brain tumor. Please, please, please go on over to their blog and check it out and POST A COMMENT of encouragement to Annie's family that you are praying for them. That would mean so much to them!!! Even if you don't know them...which you obviously probably don't - just let them know you know and you care, okay???

Mars, I just found your blog. Praise God!! Reading it is almost as fun as being with you :-) I miss you.

I'm so sorry to read about your grandma. I have fond memories of her happy spirit and big smile. I know she will be missed. I also suspect they are having a party in heaven to celebrate her arrival :-) Maybe she's racing horses on the streets of gold!

I want to see you and Charlie sometime soon...let's try to get together with our boys...I'd love to come to Portland...let me know when you'd be up for a get-together. I am free most Mondays and Fridays!!! Ok, enough begging to see you :-)

Love your blog!
